President Blames Ukraine for Plane Flipping Upside Down in Toronto

Thursday, February 20th, 1:22pm EST, WASHINGTON DC — In a wide-ranging side-by-side FOX TV interview with Elon Musk, President Trump on Tuesday said it was “obviously Ukraine’s fault” that the Delta flight out of Minnesota flipped upon landing Monday in Toronto.

“The Ukrainians don’t know how to fly planes. Period. Or land them. Obviously.” Trump said when asked about the crash. “We don’t know everything yet, but they, the Ukrainians should know all about ice, they live in the iciest place in the world. Lots and lots of it there, tons of it actually.”

When the Fox News interviewer reminded him that it was an American plane and crew, the president walked back his remarks.

“Have you ever seen a plane flip on its back like that? People have never seen anything like it. Only DEI… could make a plane flip on it’s back that. Like a certain porn star who shall go unnamed.”

Delta refused to comment on either Presidents’ remarks, but did release a statement saying that they are cooperating fully with the NTSB investigation and praising their heroic crew for a perfect evacuation.

Trump supporter Sean Hannity conducted the interview. When Hannity asked what cuts Elon expected to make to the FAA, Musk replied “We’ve only cut 10% of the FAA staff so far, just a few controllers, and a few landing technicians. Maybe 2000 altogether. But none of it will affect safety.” President Musk added. “If it does and we have another crash, then we’ll reverse it. We’re gonna break things. We told you that.”

Wednesday evening on a rightwing podcast President Trump commented on the NTSB investigation. “I tell you one good thing, a silver lining to these awful plane crashes, we get to see that hot little NTSB Blonde a lot more. She’s a beauty, isn’t she? It’s almost worth another crash. I said ALMOST.”
